my 0.2...
NEVER before has anyone in the Honda aftermarket scene bothered their ass to follow up their parts, or return phone calls that I made. That Larry Widmer should phone me at my house for a chat, talk for an hour about racing, and then pick up the tab for a TRANS ATLANTIC call - well lets say i am impressed with his after sales service. It makes every one elses 1 line replies to e-mail look pretty pathetic.
As for the ENDYN kit, if it comes out it comes out. I dont think that any one can question their determination. I have given too many companies my money for not enough in return. Larry isnt holding any deposits, we dont owe him anything (financially), and he doesnt owe us anything.
Personnaly I wouldnt tell a soul if I was developing a kit, but Larry chooses to be free with ideas & information - and thats why he's worth listening to. That some of his ideas are not easy to "dumb down" for novices to understand can lead to sceptecism & criticism, but as I said, he doesnt owe us anything - I just bet he's sick of being beaten down by cynics.

Those are all good points Joe. But you can understand that people are getting anxious with all the things ENDYN is saying their kit will have (traction control, 400 HP, etc.) It's like telling a kid that you have the magical Pokemon card that beats all other cards. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif
Right now I am buying a house so a SC is in the distant future. If the SC is out by then I will be glad to be one of the first to try it. If not, I will probably get a used JRSC and send it to ENDYN for their mods.

Encino,
I didn't know what was in Serge's ride, only what another mech told me.... But Ken's ride does have stock internals... I'm NOT saying it's a stock motor... but the rods, pistons, crank are stock... he bored it out a tad... and yeah he runs an STR intake... ice water intercooler... complete standalone Fuel Injection system with 720cc injectors (which were completed tapped out, he's gotta change them now)....
And like i said, he could only get his boost upto 18psi.. and he ran a 11.3? U saw the car... completely striped down and stuff.. i never said it was a street legal car... i was only refering to the motor having stock internals..
Sorry for the misconfusion....

"AND GUESS WHAT? TIME WILL TELL THAT MOST LIKELY HE IS A MONKEY. HOW DARE HIM LIE AND DECIEVE, IN THE MEAN TIME MAKE U ALL WET IN THE PANTS BECAUSE HE CAN MAKE 24PSI ON A STOCK MOTOR. HA HA HA HA.....KEEP WETTING YOUR PANTS. ".
Yeah some people can live with anxiety, others cant.If the kit is ever made, or I check out of the old folks home first, then i can still be content with having cut my JRSC EX kit into 9 bits, fabricating a new manifold, and depriving Jackson of a ZC kit sale, after all OJ strung me along for 2 years waiting for his kit to come out.
And who gave me the design ? - you guessed it.
While I am on the subject, when i removed my EX blower, I found some huge mismatches between the s-tube, bypass, and blower - like between 2 and *5mm* at each joint. Interestingly, the bypass was for a "oval port blower", while I had "rectangular port" (new shape) blower,Hmmm. Also, excessive jointing compound *inside* joints had dried, and was flaking off into the blower rotors. This may explain why some of the epoxy coating was missing...
If you ever get the chance to remove your blower, check out the build quality, and go buy a selection of round files. Jackson Racing employees aint rocket scientists, if you catch my drift...
Oh, and why didnt I just plead with Jackson for a production manifold ? "we sell complete kits, we dont sell components".

The Thermal is to arrive tomorrow and I'll be seeing the muffler shop ASAP. It's got to be better than the pieced-together 2.5 system I have behind the header now.
